About Webster County Court Docket

Webster County court records are split among the Circuit Clerk, Magistrate Clerk, municipal offices, appellate clerks, and federal courts. West Virginia also uses separate public search tools for Circuit and Magistrate matters. This private reference site organizes those official routes so a reader can identify the right portal, office, address, or phone number before making a request.

Why We Built This Site

West Virginia generally permits inspection of court records, subject to statutes, court rules, confidentiality, sealing, and redaction. The practical challenge is custody. The Webster County Circuit Clerk keeps Circuit and Family records, while the Magistrate Clerk keeps Magistrate files. WVPASS searches Circuit cases and MCRSearch searches Magistrate case information. Municipal and federal records follow other routes. We organize the verified contacts, portal limits, request details, and court distinctions without replacing the official file.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a West Virginia court, clerk, or government agency. Its limits are important:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
